Another special presentation tonight with House Music, a collection of songs about dwellings both physical and emotional. For tonight’s Final Hour, I came up with three themed sets, see if you can guess what they are. It’s like that Connections game!

A good show, with plenty of lively commentary from the listeners over the internets. Hat tip to Generoso and Lily, listening somewhere on the East Coast, for reminding me of the rare provenance of the Fishbone track, and for Robin for sticking it out into the wee hours in Atlanta.

It was a quiet night. Somehow, three songs with states in the title ended up in the second hour, so I bumped them all to the top for a mini-tour.

It’s back to a regular schedule, at least for the foreseeable future, and it’s good to be back with the usual cast of characters. A rare and rainy night in the Grand Valley, perfect for this random gallop through some haphazard old stuff and sparkly new stuff.

It was a quiet night... I believe an unearthly materializing of liquid water from thin air had people on edge. Elsewhere, the phenomenon is so common it has its own word -- "rain" -- but here in the Grand Valley, it's so rare as to trigger suspicions of alien interference, chemtrails, or bitcoin market manipulation. Sometimes all three.
